The Spot

The Spot is a mobile app I’ve been building as a passion project to solve a problem I’ve faced personally as a photographer: finding great photo locations—especially in cities I don’t know well.

Still in the design phase, the app lets photographers save, organize, and share their favorite spots within a community-driven platform. I’ve done deep user research and interviews with pros to make sure it really fits into their workflows and solves real pain points.

The Spot goes beyond a pin on a map—it includes details like lighting conditions year-round, climate insights, and personal notes, so photographers can plan smarter without spending hours scouting. The goal is simple: help photographers spend less time searching and more time creating and connecting with clients.

This project shows my strength in identifying industry-specific problems and designing thoughtful, user-centered solutions from the ground up.
